Work History

Statement

My work predominantly exists in public spaces, and is more often than not slightly larger than life. I have experience of working with a diverse number of materials including steel and concrete but wood is my preferred material. Collaboration has been intrinsic to my development as an artist. I am also keen on people physically interacting with my work, I have found this interaction helps keep the surface of the sculpture clean and polished and extends the life of the sculpture rather than damaging the work as is the first reaction. I have never consciously accepted a style in my work and have always challenged and pushed myself to produce or try something new.
